Anvil Recording Co. is proud to feature the excellent all singing all playing duo 'Turin Brakes' on our first release ANV02. The duo, who have been playing music together since they could barley walk, have skill and maturity beyond their years. Now both aged twenty three, their first release 'The Door' EP, gives us the first glimpse into their world of beauty, observation and emotion. The first and last of the four tracks featured on this recording are typical of Turin Brakes' deep and accurate portrayal of the human condition. 'The door' is a personal account of the pain of decision making, whilst 'The Road' gives an optimistic outlook on what the future may bring. |
